1️⃣ or 2️⃣? Which recipe by @erekav would you try?👇
1️⃣ If you’ve never had NUTELLA GRILLED CHEESE, you are missing out! My version has Nutella, brie and crushed hazelnuts! If you get a chance check out my friend @eattravelrock Nutella & blue cheese version!
Ingredients:
-2 slices of buttered sourdough bread
-Nutella
-Chopped hazelnuts
-2 ounces of brie
2️⃣ My version of the VIRAL ONE-POT FRENCH ONION PASTA! I’m not big on most of these viral food trends, but this you gotta try!!
Ingredients:
-1 lb rigatoni
-2 tbsp butter
-1 tsp salt
-4 yellow onions thinly sliced
-2 tsp fresh thyme minced
-2 bay leaves
-1/2 cup sherry wine
-6 cup chicken stock
-6 ounces Gruyere cheese grated + plus more for serving
-1/3 cup chopped parsley or chopped chives.
-Add 2 tbsp butter to a large skillet and melt over medium-high. Once the butter starts to foam, add onions and 1/2 tsp salt. Reduce the heat to medium and cook low and slow until the onions are silky and caramelized.
-Add thyme,1/2 tsp salt, and sherry. Cook for about 3 minutes or until the smell of alcohol is gone.
-Add bay leaves and stock.
-Bring to a boil, then add pasta. The pasta water should just cover the pasta. This is intentional. The result is very starchy water which is neede to thicken the sauce.
-Cook for 12-15 minutes. Stir frequently.
-Mix in gruyere cheese and parsley or chives.
-Serve and garnish with more cheese and parsley or chives.
